At Deerdem, we want you to love your purchases. If something isn’t quite right, our hassle-free returns policy makes it easy to return or exchange items. Here’s everything you need to know about returning products bought from deerdem.com or our stores.
1. Online Purchases
Your Right to Return
- You can return most items within 28 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange, as long as they’re unused, in original condition, and with all tags and packaging intact.
- This exceeds your legal right to cancel within 14 days under UK law – we’re giving you extra time because we care about your satisfaction!
How to Return
- Log in to your Deerdem account and go to “My Orders” to start your return.
- Print your free returns label (available for UK customers) or follow instructions for international returns.
- Pack your items securely and drop them off at a designated returns point (e.g., Post Office or courier partner).
- We’ll process your refund or exchange within 14 days of receiving the item(s).
Refund Details
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
2. In-Store Purchases
- Items bought in a Deerdem store can be returned to any Deerdem store within 28 days with your receipt for a refund or exchange.
- Without a receipt, we may offer an exchange or store credit at the current selling price, subject to proof of purchase.
3. Faulty or Incorrect Items
- If your item is faulty, damaged, or not what you ordered, we’ll cover all return costs and offer a full refund or replacement.
- Contact us within 28 days of receipt at returns@deerdem.com or call +44 (0)20 1234 5678, and we’ll guide you through the process.
- For faulty items, you’re also protected under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which entitles you to a repair, replacement, or refund if goods aren’t of satisfactory quality.
4. Non-Returnable Items
Some items can’t be returned unless faulty, including:
- Personalised or custom-made products.
- Underwear, swimwear, or pierced jewellery (for hygiene reasons, unless unopened).
- Gift cards or vouchers.
5. International Returns
- If you’re outside the UK, you can return items within 28 days of receipt.
- You may need to cover return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect (check your local returns portal for details).
- Refunds will be processed in your local currency, subject to exchange rates at the time of refund.
